I believe that having a headcanon of your favorite character is totally fine. Its a nice contributor to making fanart and fanfiction. However, what I do not like is when a headcanon gets taken too far, contradicts the characters backstory and personality too much,is problematic or is treated as actual canon.
What are your feels?
Edit: I am making a series of posts based on discussing my opinions on certain things. I’m calling it “My Thoughts”.
I have the same feelings for head-canons too. It’s fun to see people’s thoughts on characters, but if they’re weird and it conflicts with the character’s personality, then that makes me feel quite uncomfortable.
one time i saw someone get offended by someone who didnt treat their headcanon as fact, and i thought that was really dumb, but if its something small, or something like an alternate universe, i can enjoy it
Headcanons are always awesome if theyre not weird nor problematic, cuz at the end of the day thats what they are, headcanons, little pieces of imagination

If it’s problematic then that’s really bad and being treated like canon is weird but besides that I don’t really care since I have a couple headcanons and I know people that have contradictory ones
